Welcome to
The Susan Cory Gallery

Susan comes from an artistic family and began painting in her teens, exhibiting whenever she was given the chance. Winning a few prizes encouraged her to continue.
Travel and a career got in the way for quite a few years and art was put on the back burner.
After moving to Perth in the early 1980,s, Susan enrolled in a Diploma of Fine Arts at Midland College. This influenced her to try different mediums including sculpture and pottery.Another glitch in her life saw Susan's priorities move away from art for awhile to concentrate on a marketing career and settling back to Queensland. There, while working, she went to Brisbane Technical college at night to once again dabble in ceramics. Unfortunately Susan developed a bad skin condition, and after retiring and moving to Esk, is now concentrating on painting with Acrylics as they suit her style.
Selected recent group exhibitions:

Susan is finding her style changing all the time, however she prefers contemporary, colourful macro views of landscapes.
Susan and her sister Diana Howcroft will be holding an exhibition of their works at THE CROWS NEST REGIONAL GALLERY from 1st to 27th May 2012.
